Sale Garden
If you are unfamiliar with daylily terms a clarification of initials and abbreviations follows. Following the name of the cultivar (daylily) is the name of the hybridizer, year of introduction into commerce, height, and size of bloom. Next is the typical bloom season: EE (extra early bloom season), E (early bloom season), M (midseason bloom), L (late bloom season), VL (very late bloom season), or a combination such as ML equating to mid-late bloom season. If a cultivar is registered as a rebloomer (but no so in all zones), the code "Re" follows. The next entry regards the behavior of the foliage: Dor (dormant) signifying the foliage dies back, Sev (semi-evergreen) signifying a small portion of green foliage during the winter, (although in northern zones this type exhibits the characteristics of a dormant), Ev (evergreen) the foliage remains green throughout the winter in the southern zones, but will behave as a Sev in the northern zones. The description reflects the information submitted when the cultivar was registered with the AHS (American Hemerocallis Society). The price reflects the cost of a double fan unless followed by an "S" signifying a single fan. All photographs were taken in our gardens. With our collection numbering over 1300 cultivars, we are happy to respond to your inquiry as to the availability of any cultivars you are seeking that are not included in our sale garden section.
This list of available plants will disappear 30 July '10 and replaced with a new listing prior to 1 October '10 for shipment spring '11.
